Introduction

The Firm was launched over five years ago by the partners of the firm who had conceived of a novel mode of rendering legal services with a particular interest in areas of law hitherto not keenly considered by advocates as areas of practice. The idea was finally formalized when the firm formally came into existence in the name of Kibungei & Company Advocates, the current name through which the firm is registered. The firm has more than twenty (20) years of combined experience in different areas and matters of the law the combination of which is a great asset of the firm.

Personal Indeminity Insurance Policy

We have a Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy with The Heritage Insurance Company Kenya Limited in the sum of Kenya Shillings One Hundred Million (K.Shs. 100,000,000/=). Nevertheless, the firm notes that there has been no claim against it. In the same breadth, the firm is pleased to indicate that none of its advocates has been the subject of disciplinary process or complaint to the Law Society of Kenya and all Advocates in the firm are in good standing with the Law Society of Kenya.

Billing

To ensure that our clients are satisfied and receive excellent quality professional services, client care and value for their money, we have a flexible and transparent billing system for matters not provided for by the Advocates (Remuneration) (Amendment) Order, 2014 (the “ARO”). The ARO provides for the fees advocates should charge in certain matters. Where fee for a matter is not provided for by the ARO, our approach is to discuss the same and agree with clients up front. For matters provided for by the ARO, we charge only the scale fees.
